About the lesson

I believe in an interactive and student-centered approach to tutoring. My focus is on making the subject material engaging and tailored to the student's individual needs. Here’s how I typically structure my sessions:

1. Assessing Understanding:
I always start by assessing the student's current knowledge and understanding of the topic. This could be through a brief quiz, discussion, or asking them to explain concepts in their own words.

2. Clear Explanations & Examples:
I break down complex concepts into smaller, manageable chunks and explain them using relatable examples.
Visual aids (diagrams, charts) and practical examples often help clarify difficult topics.

3. Active Learning:
Rather than just lecturing, I encourage active participation. I ask questions, set challenges, and give the student time to work through problems.

4. Regular Feedback & Review:
After each session, I provide feedback on areas they’ve done well in and areas that need improvement.
I also review past topics to ensure retention, building a strong foundation for new material.

Lessons typically last 1 hour, but I adjust the length depending on the student’s needs and focus level. For younger students or younger learners with shorter attention spans, lessons may be shortened to 30–45 minutes. For more advanced learners or exam preparation, lessons could sometimes extend to 90 minutes.

These lessons will be catered to the needs and wants of each student with a focus on conversational and written English.
