About Alfa
I understand the challenges of developing strong essay and creative writing skills, as English requires a range of complex analytical and expressive abilities. Having worked through these challenges myself, I aim to help students build confidence and clarity in their writing.
I achieved 90+ in both English Advanced and English Extension 1, as well as an internal rank of 4 in English Extension 1. With this experience, I feel well-equipped to provide constructive feedback, clear guidance, and practical strategies to help students improve their marks in English.

I tailor lessons to each student’s individual needs and areas for improvement. Sessions run for a minimum of one hour to allow enough time for in-depth discussion and meaningful progress.
I am also able to review and provide detailed feedback on essays and sample writing, offering personalised and specific suggestions for improvement.
Additionally, I can provide sample responses and exemplar structures to guide students in developing stronger analytical and writing skills.
I have two years of experience tutoring high school English, and as a recent HSC graduate I am highly familiar with the current syllabus and assessment expectations.
I am happy to work with students from elementary through to high school, supporting them with English, essay writing, and analytical skills.
