About Josie
Hello, my name is Josie! I graduated recently with a degree in education. Growing up I lived on a farm and loved being outdoors. Currently, I enjoy doing hands-on crafts and getting to know other people around me better. I’ve always known I wanted to be a teacher because of my love for helping others and my deep passion for sharing knowledge with others.

I have spent the past 4 years studying how to teach elementary-level students in all subject areas. I learned about all of the new content and standards for Illinois for 2026. I am a certified teacher and know different strategies for getting students of all varieties of learning styles engaged. I am very flexible in my scheduling and will always adapt to the needs of the student to get the best outcome.
