About Mohammad Zaid

I am a Felix scholar and a master student currently studying LLM in International Commercial Law. I have done bachelors in Law alongside studying Political Science, Economics and Sociology.
I have a good command over maths, English and science (including Physics, Chemistry and Biology).

About the lesson

I believe that effective teaching is not just about explaining a concept, but about helping students understand why it works and how to apply it independently. My approach is therefore highly interactive and focused on building a strong understanding of the underlying principles rather than relying on rote learning.

I have been teaching and tutoring students since my undergraduate years and have approximately 6 years of tutoring experience. Over this time, I have worked with students with different learning styles, levels of understanding, and academic goals.

During my lessons, I try to break down complex concepts and problems into simple, manageable steps. I encourage students to ask questions, participate actively, and work through problems with me rather than simply listening to a lecture. My aim is to identify the core issue, explain the relevant principles clearly, and then demonstrate how those principles can be applied in practice.

A typical lesson lasts around 40–60 minutes, depending on the subject, topic, and the student's individual requirements. I am happy to adapt the pace and structure of each session—whether you need help understanding a difficult topic, preparing for an examination, improving your fundamentals, working through problem questions, or simply gaining greater confidence in a subject.

I am comfortable teaching students of different ages and academic levels, and I believe that every student can learn effectively when the teaching method is adapted to their individual needs. Most importantly, I want my lessons to be a space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing their understanding at their own pace. My goal is not simply to help you get through an exam, but to help you understand the subject, think through problems independently, and become a more confident learner.
