About Whoopie
Hey there! I'm a tech enthusiast who genuinely believes that we can always figure it out!!
I work in machine learning engineering, building the kind of systems that turn messy data into real decisions. Math clicked for me the day a teacher stopped writing formulas on a board and started telling me the story behind them. That's the energy I bring to every session. Whether you're staring at an integral wondering what went wrong or debugging code at midnight, I've been there, and I know the way out.
When I'm not tutoring or playing with data pipelines, you'll probably find tinkering with side projects or somewhere quietly staring at thin slices of tree covered in ink.

Teaching Approach
I focus on building intuition before formulas. Every concept starts with a "why does this matter?" moment, then we work through it together step by step. I adapt to how you learn, whether that's visual diagrams, worked examples, or hands-on coding exercises. I mostly lean into multimodal techniques.
Typical Lesson
We start by reviewing what clicked (and what didn't) since last time. Then I introduce new material through a real problem, we solve it together, and I give you a few to try on your own while I'm there to nudge you in the right direction. We wrap up with a quick recap and clear next steps.
What Sets Me Apart
I bridge math and IT naturally, I can show you how linear algebra powers machine learning, or how probability shows up in network reliability. I bring real-world context to abstract concepts.
Who This Is For
