About Sagar

Hi, I'm Sagar, a B.Sc. Information Technology graduate from Mumbai with a 9.38 CGPA. I have always enjoyed understanding how things work and, more importantly, explaining them in a simple way to others.

My main areas of interest are Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and Programming. My IT background has given me a strong foundation in problem-solving, programming and analytical thinking, and I have worked on projects using C#, ASP.NET Core, React.js, JavaScript and SQL Server.

I believe learning becomes much easier when you are comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. That's why I try to keep my classes friendly and interactive rather than making them feel like a lecture. I prefer explaining concepts with practical examples, solving problems together, and making sure the student actually understands the idea before moving ahead.

I can work with students who are starting from the basics as well as college students who want to strengthen their programming, logical reasoning or problem-solving skills. I am also happy to help students who feel that they are “not good” at Math or coding — many times, the problem is not the subject itself but the way it was explained.

Outside academics, I enjoy working on software projects and learning new technologies. I am patient, approachable and genuinely enjoy helping someone go from “I don't understand this” to “Okay, now I get it.”

I look forward to helping you learn with confidence and at a pace that works for you.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is simple: first understand where the student is struggling, then build the concept step by step. I don't believe in just memorizing formulas or code. I try to explain the “why” behind a concept so that the student can solve similar problems independently.

For Mathematics and Logical Reasoning, I use simple examples and gradually move from basic questions to more challenging problems. I focus on understanding the method, identifying patterns, and improving problem-solving speed and accuracy.

For Programming, I start with the basics and explain concepts using practical examples and small coding exercises. Depending on the student's level, we can cover programming fundamentals, OOP, SQL, web development, C#, JavaScript, ASP.NET, React, APIs, or help with college-level programming and projects.

A typical class starts with a quick discussion or revision of what the student already knows. We then work on the main topic with examples, solve problems or write code together, and finish with a short recap of what was learned. I also encourage students to ask questions throughout the class, because I believe there is no such thing as a “silly” question when you're learning.

I adapt the pace according to the student. Someone starting from zero may need more time with the fundamentals, while a college student preparing for exams, projects, internships, or placements may need a more practical and focused approach.

My classes are mainly intended for school students, college students, beginners in programming, and anyone who wants to improve their Math, Logical Reasoning, or coding skills in a comfortable one-to-one environment.

My main goal is to make the subject feel less intimidating and help the student become confident enough to solve problems on their own.
