About Paynor
Based in London, I am currently a graduate with distinction from the esteemed Royal College of Music where I was awarded a scholarship and am supported by the Help Musicians postgraduate fund and Muster Musical Trust. I graduated the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with a first class degree where I was awarded the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Saxophone Prize and the Doris Newton Music Club Prize. I have played internationally at the Lucerne Festival in Switzerland, the Young Euro Classic Music Festival in Berlin, as well as playing in prestigious European halls such as the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. Playing both jazz and classical has given me the opportunity to play at some of the UK's top performance venues such as the 606 Club, Ronnie Scott's, the Royal Albert Hall and the Royal Festival Hall. I am an enthusiastic and passionate musician that always aims to make lessons fun and informative, tailoring my lessons to fit the individual's needs to help them progress as a musician. *DBS Checked* *Certified First Aider*

I approach teaching by going over the basic foundations of technique for playing. I'm very passionate about the saxophone and clarinet and try to push myself to become a better teacher by reviewing lessons and assessing what can be improved to create a fun and teachable environment.
