About James

Hi! I am James Faber. I have a B.A. in history with a minor in psychology from the University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida and a M.S. in Psychology specializing in Child and Adolescent Development from Southern New Hampshire University. I have a strong focus in Research Writing and Data Analysis. If you a history major or psychology major or even anywhere in between such as social studies or polical science or are still in high school and thinking about majoring in one of those areas I can help assist you.

About the lesson

I tailor and focus my lessons on each student's individual needs because not everyone will learn the same and I will focus on specific subject matter that might be hard to explain to be easier on the student so they will be able to grasp the material easier. Not only do I focus on current events but we might also dive in to basic terminology, specific dates and events, the reasoning behind specific concepts and why it is important, primary and secondary sources, resaerch writing and citations, and how to help assist your overall grade to improve it. My lesson plans are tailored for high school students in history, social studies, political science, and psychology and for College and University students in lower and upper division courses in psychology. A typical lesson might include DBQs, primary sources, and secondary sources for history and social studies and a review of the role of government in society and how it reflects society and more advanced topics such as the political economy and public policy for political science. For psychology a typical lesson might include the review of basic topics in psychology to more advanced topics such as specific disorders, research writing, and the workplace environment and ethics. My focus to each student or learner is on an individual basis so I will be able to assist and help you understand the material in a more friendlier approach and an approach that will make it easier to understand. All of my lesson plans are designed for high school students and college and university students as well as for anyone interested in grasping the subject material better.
