Shelia Mosley is a 23 years certified veteran teacher with a B.A. in English Language and Literature, a M.S. degree in Literacy in the Content Areas, a M.S. degree in Criminal Justice and I just recently received my 2nd BA degree in Christian Counseling. She had been afforded the opportunity to study for a 3rd BA this upcoming Fall. Shelia is also Reading and ESOL endorsed . She has a TOEFL certificate and has served as a Reading Chair. Shelia's passion for teaching has resulted in her receiving the accolades Teacher of the Year, Teacher of the month twice Who's Who Among Teachers' nominations and Highly Effective teacher two years in a row. Shelia feels that the 21st Century students has a plethora amount of resources that can allow him or her to excel in college readiness courses, academic rigor, and life skills. She enjoys the fact that she can give students vast opportunities to work independently, with a partner, group and with her during teacher led discussions. Her gumption also allows her to remain persistent, patient and willing to help her students in many ways. Shelia uses visuals, techniques and hands-on activities to increase engagement at all times. She enjoys utilizing the I Do We Do and You Do model. She looks forward to working with you and your child . She is ready to enhance strengths , increase reading and English levels, fluency, vocabulary knowledge, and Reading comprehension scores. Shelia is ready to dive in and spar to new academic levels.
