About Professor
My first position was a writer for Connie Chung at CBS-TV News show "Eye to Eye" with Connie Chung. After 8 years at CBS News, I decided to become an English Teacher in order to be on the same schedule as my daughters. I was nominated Teacher of the Year; I helped my students win essay scholarships and 1st place in Public Speaking competitions winning over $30,000 in awards. I am a big advocate on the importance of vocabulary and analyzing literature. I am also an Adjunct Professor and believe in thoroughly preparing students for college.

I am an animated instructor. I believe learning should be fun. My favorite quote by Harry Wong states "Children don't care what you know, until they know that you care". I utilize various methods and strategies to ensure learning is taking place. I meet the student where they are and develop their skillsets. There are multiple intelligences, once I observe the student, I delivery instruction based on their needs. Differentiated instruction ensures that each student becomes auspicious.
