About Karisha
I am Karisha Kedia, a 2nd-year student at Loreto College currently pursuing English Honors. I have always been very passionate about English as a subject and I want to spread my love for it and hopefully encourage more people to pursue this subject. Reading literature not just develops your creativity but also your personality and holds many core values that are applicable in our lives. My aim is to help my students see that side of English and understand how it is a core part of our lives. Learning English also helps a student gain access to more opportunities and a wider field of careers.

I will have a fun approach to the subject and make sure that students don’t study only to give exams but also enjoy and like the subject. My methods will include preparing background material they can refer to, making courses interactive and more of a discussion than a lecture, and encouraging them to express their viewpoints. I will approach grammar with fun activities and will also make an effort to effectively make the students understand its various rules and applications. My aim is to help students learn and improve without it feeling like a chore. Being a student myself, I understand the various ways the class can be made more interesting.
