About Aayan
How I work
• AO-targeted writing — I show you how to build paragraphs that visibly hit analysis, context, and comparison, so you stop losing marks you earned in your head but never wrote down.
• Tight quotation banks — a small set of quotes chosen to flex across multiple themes, not 50 you’ll forget.
• Unseen poetry, decoded — a repeatable method for cracking a poem you’ve never seen, so you don’t panic in the exam.
• Explain-it-back — you don’t own an interpretation until you can argue it out loud to me. We pressure-test it before the exam does.

• AO-targeted writing. Edexcel doesn’t reward “knowing the play” — it rewards analysis (AO2), context (AO3), and comparison where the paper demands it. I show you how to build a paragraph that visibly ticks each one, so you stop losing marks you’d earned in your head but never wrote down.
• Quotation banks that actually work under pressure. Not 50 quotes you’ll forget — a tight set chosen because they flex across multiple themes and questions. Fewer quotes, more coverage.
• Unseen poetry decoded. The part most students panic about. I give you a repeatable method for cracking a poem you’ve never seen — form, tone, shift, so you’re never staring blankly.
• The explain-it-back method. You don’t own an interpretation until you can argue it to me out loud. We pressure-test your reading before the exam does.
• Essay frameworks you can reuse — a structure for comparison, for extract-based, and for whole-text questions, so you walk in with a plan instead of improvising.
I’m studying Law at Queen Mary, which is essentially professional-level argument: evidence, structure, and writing to a marking criteria under time pressure. Those are the exact skills a top English Lit answer needs, and it’s what I pass on.
Every session is built around your set texts, your board, and your weak spots. Message me which texts you’re studying and where you’re struggling, and I’ll tell you straight whether I can help and how.
