About Tommaso
I am a graduate student with full marks at the Liceo Classico "A. D'Oria" in Genoa. I have always had a great passion for translating and studying ancient Greek and Latin classical texts. For other reasons I then decided to continue with scientific studies, however, even today, as soon as I have the opportunity, I start translating passages from works or looking at grammar rules that I may have forgotten.

An essential condition for dealing with the translation of a piece in Latin and / or Greek is a thorough knowledge of grammar. The study of the arguments does not have to be in a constrained order, it is enough, for example, to observe under the title of the version which morphological-syntactic phenomena are contained, to start with an explanation or a recapitulation of them and then move on to the rendering in true Italian and own. Lessons should be held systematically and at a fixed (or in any case very regular) frequency, just as the study of these subjects should be carried out. The turning point is to observe the structures, the rules, with a new, more direct gaze, without being frightened by apparent infinite series or dangerous similarities of form. My role is precisely to offer this kind of approach that is rarely taught in schools.
