About Cassie
I’m a certified teacher with a degree in Secondary Education and Mathematics and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction. I know math can feel frustrating or overwhelming at times, which is why I focus on making it simple, approachable, and even a little fun. My lessons are personalized to fit each student’s needs and pace, so you’ll not only understand the material but also gain the confidence to tackle new challenges. My goal is to help every student feel supported, capable, and proud of their progress.

I help students of all ages build confidence and truly understand math. With a degree in Secondary Education and Mathematics and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction, I create personalized lessons that make math clear, approachable, and even enjoyable — helping students overcome frustration, master tough concepts, and achieve their goals. Lessons are targeted to students from grades 6 through 12th grade. A typical lesson will include a short introduction to the material, ranging from a simple discussion about the objectives or a challenging question to begin the lesson. After the introduction, keywords and terms will be discussed to help build math vocabulary and guide us through mathematical conversations. Plenty of practice problems will be given to walk through together, and we will close out with questions and concerns the student(s) may have.
