About Pierre

Having joined a university in the USA when I was 18 years old, speaking hardly any English at all, I know the difficulty of developing one's level of English in the French school system in order to prepare for various admission tests in grandes écoles. From my experience for 5 years in an environment where the only language of communication was English, I was able to develop my level of English by communicating a lot with others. I have been able to develop my abilities in oral expression and comprehension. I was also able to develop my level of English by following classes dealing with different topics (classes related to Business such as finance, accounting, economics, but also classes on totally different subjects such as anthropology, cinema and others). I have been able to develop various skills such as written expression as well as written and oral comprehension on specific and various subjects. I am now able to meet different types of needs such as preparing for different English tests necessary to be admitted to grandes écoles, improving oral comprehension and expression of English through exercises of conversations. Finally, I can also teach you to increase your knowledge in vocabulary on specific subjects thanks to the different classes that I have been able to follow in English during the last five years.

About the lesson

I consider that you improve your level of English through practice. My course will contain a large part of conversation to improve your speaking and listening skills. Having studied for 5 years at a university in the USA, I know the specifics of the language as well as the required English admission tests (ex: TOEFL, TOEIC, etc.). My classes will adapt according to the student's request. My classes are aimed at college level students who want to improve their English levels in general, but also high school, prep or college level students who are preparing for admission exams such as TOEFL, TOEIC, etc. .. to integrate different schools (Sciences Po, business school, ...).
