About Albane

Passionate about art and drawing since childhood, I want to share this same passion that has driven me since I was little. I hold a Diploma of Art in Illustration from the Saint-Luc School in Tournai (class of 2024-2025). I had the privilege of graduating with honors and the jury's congratulations during my secondary studies. Currently in my second year (L2) of Art History and Archaeology at the Sorbonne, I am constantly enriching my practice with a solid artistic and historical background that I am also eager to share. Because understanding art isn't just about practice, but also about analysis. My desire to teach was born from an encounter in middle school where, thanks to a special drawing teacher, I was able to truly progress and flourish in this art form. She introduced me to aspects of drawing that were completely unknown to me and transformed my vision of art. Today, I want to do exactly the same thing: share my love of drawing to inspire new people, help you express and develop your own unique world, placing creativity and imagination at the heart of learning (two pillars that I believe are essential to art), or perhaps spark a passion or simply offer a space for escape and enjoyment. Because every student is unique, my lessons are entirely personalized. I adapt to your pace, your tastes, and your goals, in a supportive, structured, and always encouraging environment.

About the lesson

I offer customized drawing lessons to guide you in discovering and refining your artistic practice. Whether you're drawn to manga, comics, cartoons, or illustration, my goal is to give you the necessary foundation so you can create what you envision. During the sessions, the student guides the program. I adapt entirely to your desires and objectives. My method unfolds in two stages: learning the fundamentals, where we cover essential basics (proportions, perspective, shadows and light, anatomy, various techniques) through exercises; and then, finally, practical application, which involves putting the previously learned basics into practice through more creative exercises and personal projects that are important to you. Together, we can explore a wide range of techniques such as colored pencils, watercolors, charcoal, alcohol markers, ink, and more. Each session is structured as follows: - The choice: at the beginning of the lesson, we define together the subject, the style (manga, cartoon, etc.), and the technique you wish to work on. - Theory: I will teach you the basic concepts necessary to complete your project. - Practice: we will do short, quick exercises to understand and practice. - Creation: you will apply these skills to a concrete, personal, and original drawing, which you will have the pleasure of finalizing. A good listener, I place trust and open communication at the heart of my lessons. For me, drawing should above all remain a pleasure and a passion. I make it a point to encourage each student's creativity and imagination, rather than imposing a rigid style. My lessons are for absolutely everyone, regardless of age, whether you are a beginner or someone wishing to solidify your foundational skills.
