About Mollie
I am a GTCS-qualified primary school teacher based in Edinburgh. I have taught across the Curriculum for Excellence levels in a number of schools, developing an excellent understanding not only of curriculum content and research-backed pedagogical approaches, but also of the progression pathway your child will follow throughout their primary school education. In my career so far, I have been recognised by school leadership and my learners' caregivers for my commitment to understanding each learner and their individual learning gaps. I aim to provide the most appropriate support, tools and encouragement to each learner in a way that best suits their unique needs. I have a strong commitment to professional development and engage in ongoing training to ensure that my teaching materials and approach are research-based and aligned with both local and national education priorities. Most of all, I am passionate about making learning FUN. I empower children to recognise what they can already do and together we build on this success.

I offer engaging, creative and personalised tutoring for primary school children (aged 5–12), aimed at developing their confidence, attainment and love of learning. I am a GTCS qualified primary teacher, skilled in adapting learning experiences to support a diverse range of additional needs. I have experience in tailoring a variety of pedagogical approaches to best suit your child's learning style, including play-based learning, interdisciplinary learning, and outdoor learning. I offer tuition across the central pillars of the Curriculum for Excellence, including literacy, numeracy and phonics. However, I also offer tuition across the wider Curriculum for Excellence subject areas. I view teaching and learning as a collaborative effort between myself, the learner and their caregivers. As a team, we can identify your child's unique learning gaps and provide fun, interest-based activities to support their progress and help them experience success.
