I am 47 years old and have studied art at college to a BA Hon in Visual Arts at Salford University. I have over 20 years' experience working with young adults with challenging behaviour, mental health impairments and learning difficulties in a residential care setting and as a teaching assistant SEN. During my time spent in care I have had some great experience, one of them being able to run an art club for the 18 houses on site at Seashell Trust and then, being asked to run an art lesson once a week in their college which I found to be great fun and very rewarding. I am a warm, friendly, passionate, caring person, with a good sense of humour who enjoys being in the company of people. I am a good team player and also use my own initiative when lone working and feel that I would be an asset to any team. Work Experience Self-employed artist May 2023- September 2023 making and selling own artwork including painting canvases and designing own t shirts
