About Abigail
Pacing remains steady and feedback arrives quickly to keep your progress moving in the right direction. Admittedly, hearing your own voice recorded is a strange sensation that we work through together. Students across all ages benefit from a clear routine that includes microphone technique and vibrato control. My Bachelor of Arts in Music gives me the tools to explain complex concepts with total clarity.
You will receive recorded warm-up routines shared for daily home practice to keep your instrument healthy. Keep practicing. My approach is always focused on keeping your singing experience as sustainable as it is fun.

Pitch control and breathing control are the technical pillars I emphasize during our time together. To be honest, I spent a long time learning how to balance my voice before I could teach others how to do the same.
I have supported 296 students, ranging from kids to adults, as they explore their unique sound. My journey began in Guadalajara, bringing those Latin influences into the local Australian music scene. Belting technique and tone resonance are essential, but rhythm and phrasing often determine whether a performance hits the mark. I also work extensively with students on exam preparation and complex harmony singing.
Sight singing is a skill I advocate for, even for those who consider themselves casual hobbyists. I still remember the first time I felt truly comfortable behind a microphone.
