Hi everyone! My name is Angel and I'm a college student in the Newcastle area. I study Applied Science at college and would love to help children build their confidence, strengthen their understanding and feel more comfortable with their schoolwork.

My approach to tutoring is friendly, patient, creative and centred around each child's individual needs. I believe every child can learn when information is explained in a way that makes sense to them. If a student struggles to understand something, I will break it down into smaller, simpler steps and explain it in different ways until they feel more confident.

I also believe learning should be enjoyable! I would take time to understand each child's interests, personality and learning needs, then use those interests to make lessons more engaging and relatable. Whether we're working on English, basic maths or science, my goal is to create a comfortable environment where children feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes and learn at their own pace.

As a college student myself, I understand that schoolwork can sometimes feel overwhelming. Through my leadership experience and helping my younger siblings with homework, I've developed my communication, patience and organisational skills. I want every student I work with to feel listened to, supported and proud of their progress.
