About Rohin
I am a design student currently studying at the University of New South Wales. I am in my final year and have decided to take my passion for the guitar to the next level. Music has profoundly impacted my life and has been a part of it for as long as I can remember. It was my mother's idea that I learn the guitar as an extracurricular activity other than school. Little did I know that a simple piece of wood with strings attached would have changed my life forever. I play the guitar daily and continue to hone my skills as I believe a true master is an eternal student. I have been playing for more than 7 years now and will continue to do so till my fingers can no longer function. That is how much I love the instrument!

As a self-taught musician, I have a tactile approach to learning and teaching the guitar. One of the biggest stigmas related to learning the guitar is that you must learn how to read sheet music. Wrong! Sheet music can enhance your knowledge of the music theorem, but in no way is it needed to be able to play melodic harmonies on the guitar, let alone create them! My experience in learning and playing the guitar spans many years and I have successfully tutored many individuals toward intermediate and advanced levels. My lessons are for anyone who wants to start learning the guitar. All ages are welcome!
