About Abby
I am a friendly, hard-working, driven individual who is passionate about English. I am excited about having the opportunity to tutor students who are also passionate about English. I am currently studying Philosophy at Lancaster University, and whilst that is not English I enjoy integrating aspects of English into my studies. It is a subject that follows you everywhere and teaches you about the technicalities of some of your favourite books. I would be truly honoured to have the opportunity to tutor anyone English.

I aim to provide a learning experience that is as personalised as possible. This allows students to get what they need out of the sessions. This means I shall carry out an introductory session to begin with in order to discuss where the student currently is in terms of grades, what learning style works for the student and what they want to get out of the sessions. The length of each session shall typically stand at one hour, unless longer sessions are requested. I have previous experience as a voluntary tutor in English Language at GCSE level in a school. This means I am available to tutor GCSE students in English Language and Literature and A level English Literature students.
