I aim to offer top quality coaching in English. I believe that lifelong learning takes place in a fun, stress-free and supportive environment. I want you to be able to apply what you learn in one of our courses 10 years from now. In addition, lessons are always personalized to meet learners' goals. I see learning as a partnership and want the learner to take control of their learning as much as possible. Some examples of this method are for learners to choose conversation topics themselves, develop their own memory aids or donkey bridges, and explain the grammar in their own words. Interaction is extremely important in learning a language. That's why my coaching is student-oriented, from the content to the type of exercises and the discussions. In a typical 45 minute conversation lesson, a learner speaks for 35-37 minutes. When interaction is coupled with accurate feedback, learners can quickly find out what their strengths and weaknesses are, and even how best to learn themselves. For this purpose I give the learners feedback forms so that they can evaluate for themselves how each exercise went. I also run progress tests regularly so learners can see their progress objectively. I am an experienced native speaker English teacher. In addition, all of the teaching methods used in our courses are scientific and based on years of research. Unfortunately, in many coaching sessions, the focus is purely on conveying information. In my opinion, this is why many language students experience frustration when they have to use the language in real life because they have not sufficiently practiced using the information they have learned. I believe it is much more useful for learners to apply this information in class. I facilitate this in several ways. Some of these are: - Role play - Games - Conversations - Free conversation (the ultimate skill / goal of any language learner) Repetition is just as important as learning itself learn) want to convert into knowledge that ends up in long-term memory, then we have to repeat. There is no point in learning 10 words and then forgetting six of them. Most lessons start with a repetition part and after each lesson we provide notes and work-ons. I always encourage asking. There are no dumb questions. I provide each of our learners with Power Cards (online course flash cards) so that they can practice, repeat and brush up on what they have learned outside of class. Pronunciation and pictures are included in the index cards. The courses are structured, but as you will find, we give you learning experiences instead of mandatory lesson plans. I use realistic materials and topics from everyday life. Up-to-date political, social, and cultural materials are incorporated to increase interest and knowledge of English-speaking countries and cultures. You will receive homework and exit tickets (quick and informal assessment questions) that will review the main topics of the lesson and encourage you to practice and apply your new skills outside of class. I also believe that technology can play an important role in supporting and facilitating lifelong learning. Thanks to technology, there are many free resources available online. I show our learners all of my favorite free resources. All of this allows learners to make rapid progress in learning or improving their English (saving time) while having fun at the same time. The atmosphere and the methods used will reduce fears and create a positive attitude towards learning, towards yourself and the world. Our goal is that by the end of your course you are a shining example of how easy, fun and rewarding it can be to speak fluent English. For me, ESL doesn't just mean English as a Second Language, but simple, fun and rewarding.
