About Nuria
Having achieved an A* in Mathematics at A-Level, I want to help kids reach their full potential in every topic of this vast subject.
Given that I'm a recent high school graduate, I understand first-hand the pressure of exams and achieving the top grades, which is why I will teach kids in a way that gives them the empowerment to learn more and the confidence to excel in this subject.
I am a patient tutor who will ensure that the student fully grasps a concept, as this is fundamental when it comes to Mathematics. This will allow them to tackle questions with greater ease, and consequently, achieve the top marks in the examinations.

Firstly, I will ask the student what their motivation is with regards to honing their maths skills. Whether it's for a certain examination, or they want to improve their maths abilities generally, this will give me an idea on how to approach our lessons.
Secondly, I will ask the student which areas they struggle with most in order to understand what topics we need to focus on.
The usual programme for each lesson will follow as this:
1) I will explain to the student what the topic is about and what sort of questions are given
2) I will go over some practice examples
3) The student and I will do some questions together
4) I will allow the student to carry out some questions by themselves, which subsequently we will go over
5) Optional, but recommended, homework
6) During the following lesson, we will do a quick recap in order to ingrain the knowledge, as well as go over the homework and any queries
I will ensure that the student not only understands the subject, but also likes it. My lessons will be engaging and challenging, yet fun and enjoyable, where the student can go out of their comfort zone and build their confidence. I will also give the student my top tips when it comes to success in examinations.
The lessons will last for one hour and will all be online.
I have helped primary school kids enhance their English reading abilities, and we have seen many clear, positive results. Furthermore, having been taught by numerous tutors myself, I understand which methods are the most effective and useful for the student.
Lastly, I also tutor kids for Spanish on this platform.
These lessons are for kids who are struggling with their Mathematics skills, up to and including A-Level knowledge.
