I am an Instructional Coach at a High School with 95% free and reduced lunches. I am certified to teach both Social Studies and English/Language Arts for which I have years of experience. I prefer to use student centered, inquiry based, and problem solving strategies for my instruction. This requires the student to use and expand their depth of knowledge in the subject area being taught. In regards to tutoring, I rely on a question based strategy in order to determine the needs of the student. From there, I apply a laser focus that is aimed at increasing the level of proficiency for the skills and content that require improvement.
