About Shanzay
I am a straight A student who has 2+ years of experience being a Teacher's Aide, specifically with middle and elementary school kids. I also have younger family members who I help with school. I work very flexibly and am also a GT (Gifted and Talented) student, so I love using more than just average tests or teaching methods, bringing projects and different, more creative, learning methods to the table. I love talking to kids and helping them get comfortable while I teach them, so they are able to work better and be more focused

My lessons are based on feedback and actual lesson plans discussed with teachers who have had a lot of experience. I am really flexible in how I teach, and will change them based on the needs of my students. I will usually have worksheets and also assign students a folder or binder to keep track of their work and have resources readily available to them. I use this because I want to help stimulate a school environment, which improves how a student actually performs while taking tests or doing work in school. I work very well with kids with ADHD or that are on the neurodivergent spectrum and can assign lesson plans based on their personal needs
