I am a flexible and organized educational professional with 17 years of teaching expertise and an ability to explain complicated mathematical concepts in an easily understandable manner. I have a talent for employing unique, encouraging strategies to effectively engage all students and create a fun learning environment. I am encouraging and patient, providing individual support for students struggling with math concepts. I quickly develop positive relationships with students and parents to foster a friendly and supportive environment. I am fluent in written and verbal English, Hindi, and Gujarati, as well as proficient in Urdu and Sanskrit.

I have earned a master’s degree in mathematics. As a teacher, I have had the opportunity to teach SPED students and those functioning below, at, and above grade level. I have been very successful in accommodating diverse student needs by facilitating all learning styles, offering individual and extracurricular support, and integrating effective materials. For the past 17 years, the SOL pass rate of my students, including Special Education students, has been over 90%.
