About Amy

I want you to know you’re in really good hands with me. I take tutoring seriously and I always show up prepared, patient, and ready to make things click for you. When we work together, you’re not just getting someone who’s good at school, you’re getting someone who actually cares about helping you succeed. I stay on top of my own honors and AP classes, so everything I teach is current, accurate, and aligned with what teachers expect right now. I break things down clearly, check your understanding step by step, and never move on until you actually feel confident. No guessing, no confusion, no judgment, just real learning that sticks. You can trust that I’ll: • Be consistent, dependable, and always on time • Come with clear explanations and real examples • Help you build study habits that work beyond just one assignment • Adjust to your pace and learning style • Create a space where asking questions feels normal and safe I want you to feel supported and confident every session. My goal isn’t just to help you finish homework, it’s to help you genuinely understand the material so your grades rise and your stress drops. You’re not doing this alone anymore!

Hi! I’m Amy, a current high-school student who actually gets what school feels like right now. I’m not an adult who forgot what Math is like, I’m currently doing it too, at a high level, and I’ve mastered the exact techniques teachers want.

I tutor because I love helping people go from “ugh I don’t get this” to “wait… that was actually easy.”
I explain things like a friend, clear, chill, and zero judgment. You can ask me anything and I’ll break it down in a way that finally makes sense.

Why I’m actually good at this
• I’m strong in Honors and AP classes, so I teach the methods that actually get A’s right now.
• I’m patient and I don’t move on until you really understand it, no fake “okay yeah” moments.
• I make studying feel lighter, faster, and way less stressful.
• Because we’re close in age, I relate to you way better than older tutors and explain things in a way you’ll vibe with.

What I can help with
• Math up to Geometry / Algebra 2
• Honors English writing, essays, DBQs, and analysis
• Chemistry basics and problem-solving
• Study skills, test prep, organization
• Homework check-ins and quick “help me real quick” sessions

If you want someone who’s smart but not intimidating, supportive but honest, and actually makes school feel doable, I’m your person.

Let’s get you feeling confident and crushing your classes.
