About Sara

After I graduate high school I am interested in studying Engineering at UQ however I am still undecided. I have been tutoring peers at school through a Peer-Tutoring program as well as contributing to the Southport Primary School Homework club in the past. Through these experiences I have found a love for teaching and a sense of accomplishment when I see that students are learning and understanding the content well. I will aim to make our sessions enjoyable as well as progressing through the work. The topics that I will cover will be based on the student and the areas that they need to work on. I can prepare questions in advanced and help with work set from school as well. We can discuss what you or your child needs further and I will make our sessions based on that. Usually sessions are either 30min -1hour. I can teach Primary School, years 7-9 and year 10.

About the lesson

Hi! My name is Sara and I attend the Queensland Academies for Health Science on the Gold Coast. I am currently in year 11 and take Health Science, Maths, English, Business and Music as my subjects. I would love to help students, particularly in junior years, to further understand content learnt from school. I am currently undertaking the IB curriculam and I will be able to help you prepare if you are considering doing the IB Diploma. However, I am also able to teach within the Atar system. I am interested in helping you achieve the best results that you can whilst enjoying the content you learn.
