About Gourav

Hello and Welcome. I am an IIT Student. I hold a degree in Marketing and bring over 8 years of tutoring experience across a wide range of subjects. My background combines strong analytical skills with a passion for problem-solving, which allows me to make learning approachable and engaging for students of all levels. During my 8 years of teaching, I have worked with school children, high school students, and college learners—helping them improve grades, prepare for exams, and, most importantly, build confidence in their studies. Subjects I Teach: Languages: English, Hindi, Bengali, Literature Commerce: Economics, Accounting Science & Math: Mathematics, Algebra, Geometry, Physics, Biology Technology: Computer Science, Social Studies: Geography I specialize in Mathematics and problem-solving skills, but my multi-subject expertise enables me to provide holistic support to students who need guidance across different areas of study. While I do not hold formal teaching certifications, my hands-on experience and student-centered approach have consistently helped learners gain both academic success and confidence.

About the lesson

As a teacher, my goal is to make learning simple, enjoyable, and confidence-building. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit individual needs and learning styles. I focus on step-by-step explanations and use real-life examples to make abstract concepts easier to understand. I also encourage problem-solving, interactive discussions, and practice exercises to ensure knowledge is applied, not just memorized. I always begin with a quick review of the previous lesson, introduce the new topic in clear, easy steps, work through examples together, connecting the lesson to real-life situations. Give practice questions and guide the student as they solve them. End with a short recap and feedback to check understanding. Prerequisites: Simplifying concepts so even difficult topics feel easy. Fun and interactive learning to keep students engaged. Patience and encouragement to help students build confidence. Ability to teach multiple subjects so students get comprehensive support. I teach school children, high school and college students, and adults who want to strengthen their knowledge or prepare for exams. Whether you’re struggling with basics, aiming for top grades, or learning for personal growth, I’ll create lessons tailored to your goals.
