About Harpreet

I am a postgraduate English Trainer and Certified Phonics Trainer with over 7 years of experience in teaching children. I specialise in Phonics, spelling patterns, reading fluency, grammar, verbal skills, and interview preparation. Having worked as an English teacher in CBSE-affiliated schools, I developed a strong understanding of children’s learning needs and the importance of building a solid foundation in language skills. During the lockdown, I transitioned to online teaching, which opened the opportunity to work with students from different countries and diverse learning backgrounds. As a mother myself, I strongly believe that a strong foundation in language plays a vital role in a child’s overall learning and cognitive development. My teaching approach focuses on making learning engaging, structured, and child-friendly while helping students build confidence and become independent learners. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with children of different age groups and abilities, and every student has added something special to my teaching journey. It has been a wonderful and rewarding journey so far, and I look forward to continuing to help children grow into confident and effective communicators.

About the lesson

With extensive experience in the field of English language training, I have been tutoring students from different countries and diverse learning backgrounds for the past 7 years. I specialise in Storytelling, Verbal Skills, Grammar (for both primary and higher grades), Vocabulary, Confidence Building, Phonics, Spoken English, Business English, and Interview Preparation. As a Certified Phonics Trainer and a mother myself, I understand the importance of building a strong foundation through structured and organic learning. I follow my own teaching methodology and carefully designed roadmap for phonics sessions, helping children develop strong spelling patterns, pronunciation, reading fluency, and confidence from an early age. I also conduct Spoken English sessions designed to help students communicate more effectively with native English speakers. These sessions focus on vocabulary development, pronunciation, conversational skills, sentence formation, and overall communication. In addition, I have been conducting Business English and Interview Preparation sessions for the last 7 years, helping learners improve their professional communication and confidence. My sessions are flexible and personalised according to each student's age, current level, learning goals, and areas of improvement. I offer both one-on-one and group classes for students aged 4–18, covering Grammar and English Language Skills from the basic to advanced level. My aim is not just to teach English, but to help students become confident, effective, and independent communicators.

My subject Includes Speaking English, Body language, Confidence, Verbal skills, Storytelling, Phonics, Fluent Reading & Writing.
Teaching is my passion and I developed the passion ever since I started working in the schools as a primary grade phonics teacher.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
One and only my daughter inspired and motivated me to take this as a profession. She was 2 years old when I started working and realized why early childhood education is so crucial.
How does your work help society?
Children of today are the future of tomorrow. More than anything I help them to build a dream :)
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
None other than, Myself. I am a hardworking mother, a homemaker, a teacher, and what not :)
