About Marthie
I'm passionate about languages and communication. I started my teaching career in South Africa before moving to Europe in 2005. I taught English to previously disadvantaged students in SA as a trainer for the Department of Agriculture. After completing my degree and certifications, I worked at various schools and universities in England, Portugal and Turkey. I returned to South Africa in 2022 and am currently teaching 20 plus online students - adults and children. (I work for different academies as a private tutor). I want to share what I've learned as a teacher in Europe with South African students. I can assess a student's English level and build on the foundations. Teaching has to be fun for both parties to ensure the best results.
