About Natalie

I am a 27-year-old woman living in London. I studied English Literature at University, before completing my Secondary English PGCE. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been passionate about both English and teaching. As a primary school student, I distinctly remember teachers raising concerns about my abilities in English; my spelling wasn’t where it should be, I wasn’t advancing as quickly as some of my peers. However, then came the encouraging teachers, the ones who were always proud of the work I did because they saw I was trying my hardest. Through their encouragements, I began to excel. I wanted to become just like those teachers, who helped me build my confidence and taught me that skills are taught, not naturally gifted.

About the lesson

Targeted to suit the individual needs of students, each lesson will lay another brick in student confidence and ability. I will assess what teaching style best suits the individual. I pride myself on always offering a supportive, encouraging, and reassuring approach to teaching that seeks to build skills and abilities and never knock confidence.
