About Erin

I am a law graduate with both my undergraduate law degree and postgraduate diploma in professional legal practice. I have been tutoring for over 4 years and have spent the past year tutoring specifically online! I have taught well over 300 students in both English and Law and had many students pass exams they were struggling with or raise their grades as a direct result of my tutoring! I love helping others reach their goal.

I largely focus on English, but also enjoy helping with legal based dissertation topics and CV's/Cover Letters!

About the lesson

I want to be able to cater for the individual needs of each student who wishes for me to tutor them. I hope to help my students achieve their goals by creating an environment in which they can flourish, by establishing what exactly it is they need help to improve on and what kind of learner they are whether it be more visual or read/write.

I always create a clear and comprehensive goal of what the individual wants from each session which aids me in helping the student to get to where they want to be. Setting this goals meaning that no matter what the goal the student knows how it is we are going to get there whether that be going over school work, guiding with university work or providing a lesson on a particular subject.

I prefer to set small tasks in between each session to evaluate where the student is at. I am flexible with learning plans and allow an element of the student leading how they want things to go.
