About Ann
Seeing students smile after singing a song they once found difficult is one of the best parts of my job. Those moments remind me that steady practice and a little patience can make a big difference.
I have a Bachelor of Music and 9 years of teaching experience, working with beginners and adult learners. Over the years, I've learned that every student improves in their own way, so I never expect everyone to learn at the same speed.
I enjoy creating lessons where students feel comfortable asking questions and trying new things. My hope is that every student leaves class feeling proud of their progress and excited for the next lesson.

A good singing lesson should help you feel relaxed while learning something new every time. I plan each class around your goals, your favourite songs, and your current level, so you can enjoy learning without feeling rushed or under pressure.
We'll work on breath control, pitch, rhythm, vocal range, ear training, diction, harmony, tone, microphone skills, and stage performance through songs and simple exercises. If a part of a song feels difficult, we'll slow down, practise it together, and keep going when you're ready.
You'll always know what to practise before the next lesson because I keep the goals clear and easy to follow. Over time, you'll notice your voice becoming stronger, more confident, and more natural every time you sing.
