About Alex
I am a first-year student at Warwick University studying Economics and Management. Having achieved an A* in A-level Mathematics and a grade 9 at GCSE, I have a strong academic background in the subject. Alongside my studies, I serve as a Flight Sergeant in the Air Cadets, where I regularly work with and support young people of GCSE age. This experience has strengthened my ability to engage, communicate, and lead effectively. I want to teach because I enjoy helping others build confidence in their abilities and find satisfaction in seeing students overcome challenges and succeed in their learning.

I approach teaching mathematics with patience and clarity, always aiming to understand the source of a student’s confusion before moving forward. I bring energy and enthusiasm to each lesson, helping students stay engaged and motivated. When knowledge gaps arise, I reteach concepts in a clear and supportive way to build a strong foundation. When students show strength in an area, I encourage them to deepen their understanding and challenge themselves with more advanced ideas. Give me a shot :)
