About Cody

-I’m relatable to young students as I have very recently experienced the exact same pressures and problems that you face

-Personable and approachable and therefore able to provide clear, concise and most importantly understandable insight to your problems with Economics

-I myself rose from grade 5s and 6s to 8s and 9s from mocks to GCSEs in the space of 6 months through self-application, and I’m eager to relay the methods and knowledge I discovered and used to aspiring students like myself

About the lesson

-I approach tutoring in an open-minded manner. I offer a free 30-minute introduction in which I can come to understand the problems and in turn the solutions to your struggles with English Literature, English Language and economics

-My lessons are for year 7 - GCSE students for English literature/language and GCSE students in economics

-Following this, lessons are a minimum of an hour long (longer if requested), in which we establish missing foundations of knowledge and then zoom into specific areas of your subject specifications that you struggle with. Lessons will be centred purely around the student and their needs in the subject in hand.

- Have volunteered as a tutor to younger year students since year 11 in both subjects, establishing my ability to seek out the cause and the cure for underwhelming results

-I have an abundance of top-level study materials that will undoubtedly aid your studies

I know Cody through my role in the Sixth Form Pastoral Team at Bishop Vesey’s Grammar School. Although I haven’t worked with him as his mentor, I’ve had the opportunity to get to know him well and can confidently say he is an incredibly dedicated, hardworking, and reliable individual. Cody approaches everything he does with maturity, professionalism, and a genuine willingness to help others. He is approachable, patient, and communicates well, which I know will help him build strong relationships with his students. I have no doubt that he will be a fantastic tutor, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone who is knowledgeable, encouraging, and committed to helping students succeed.
