About Olivier
I'm a first year student at the University of Pretoria currently studying Chemical engineering. I'm half Congolese, half South African and I learnt to speak French throughout my childhood and took it formally in high school until the AS Level. The main reason I want to tutor French is to help other people become familiar with the French language as it's a very beautiful language and it's one of the most useful languages to understand in modern-day society, even if it's just for basic communication!

I like to take a very practical approach to teaching French as I found it really helped me in areas that I struggled with when learning the language in a formal setting. I really aim for as much engagement with students as possible before assigning independent work to get a true sense of their capabilities and where they seem to be struggling.
