About Shaurya
Hello there! I am Shaurya, an Electronic Engineering student at UCL and an A* Maths and Further Maths student who has competed in the British Mathematical Olympiad. We all think that Maths is some unimaginably difficult subject that’s impossible to understand, I’ve been there as well, but the reality is that becoming “good” at Maths is nothing but a solid understanding of the fundamentals, and practice, practice and more practice! Same way if you want to build up muscle by going to the gym 5 times a week and training with good form, if you want to build up your maths skill then the key is practice!!

I am offering lessons to GCSE and A Level Mathematics students. Typically, I will have my students send me a topic of their concern prior to the lesson, and during our 1 hour lesson, I will use an interactive online whiteboard system to explain the fundamentals of their topic of concern. I will then work through relevant exam questions and practice questions with them, and during this ensure that I teach them how to apply the theory behind the topic into exam situations. At the end of a lesson I will recommend that the student completes and self marks a set of practice questions drawn from my resources of over 100000 A Level and GCSE practice questions.
