I adapt my teaching method to individual needs/preferences and specific exam goals. If applicable, I find it best to extrapolate from philosopher’s own words to general theories, such that a student can properly grasp and engage with the concept(s) in question. However, depending on the level and specificity of teaching required, I also give students a holistic understanding of broader areas of the subject, including Metaphysics, Epistemology, Ethics, and Philosophy of Logic.
