About Michael Palmer

I'm Michael, a composer and producer with over 25 years of experience across many genres and styles, including music for film and TV. I have taught music production at university level and led A Level Music Technology courses in the UK. I teach because I enjoy helping musicians get past the technical barriers, so that Logic Pro becomes an instrument for their own ideas. My aim is that you leave with the skills to keep making great music on your own.

Do you find Logic Pro gets in the way of the music? I'll help you move past the technical barriers so you can use Logic Pro as an instrument and bring your own ideas to life.

Lessons are one-to-one and online, tailored to you and your creative goals, whether you are just starting out or refining your skills. We can cover setting up your studio, production, composing, songwriting, arranging, music theory, MIDI programming, recording live instruments and vocals, mixing and mastering. I specialise in UA Apollo integration with Logic Pro.

I'm a working composer and producer, and I have taught music production at university level. I can also act as a creative mentor, helping with the technical, creative and mental blocks that come up when you are finding your own sound.

Most importantly, you will gain the skills to keep making great music long after our lessons end. Rated 5.0 on Google.
