About Lucy
I currently work in a leading US law firm, having previously worked in the corporate department of a magic circle law firm.
I graduated in Law and completed my LPC with an MSc in Law and Business Management from the University of Law with a distinction.
I am now keen to help other students on the tips and tricks I picked up during my experience - including what to expect in examinations, how to effectively manage time and how prepare for a career in law outside of what many law firms will tell you.
I specialise in Undergraduate, Postgraduate and LPC level tutoring and have successfully mentored many students to a distinction level in their assessments. A large focus of my tuition is preparing for exams and coursework and enabling students to increase their marks beyond the level they thought was possible.
I have also successfully mentored a number of training contract candidates with their application forms and interview preparation, many of whom have gone on to receive offers for vacation schemes and training contracts.

My classes are taught in a practical manner, and focus on the substantive breakdown of each topic in an easily digestible manner, as opposed to a large volume of academic material as can be the case at school and University. I use techniques which helped me throughout my studies such as visual aides, useful audio guides, and key additional revision guides. I have extensive experience tutoring LPC students, particularly those re-sitting examinations, and have guided a large number of individuals from a fail rate to a distinction. My aim is to tutor students in a reliable and friendly manner and provide support alongside the university course.
For those interested, I will also provide guidance on how to best position yourself for a job at a top law firm and securing a training contract/vacation scheme. I am very happy to tailor the tutoring to the needs of the student.

My rates are based on the time taken to analyse the student's study goals and tailor a revision plan which is bespoke to the requirements of the student. It is important that the student gets value for money, so each lesson has an individual structure which students should adhere to in order to achieve the results they want.
