Fun lessons for students in Middle/High School and College, depending on desires, research interests, current needs. I draw from professional development with National Board of Teaching, Culturally Relevant Education, Gifted and Talented Education, Intelligence Analysis, and more.
My background draws from BA, MA, and PhD in world literature and cultural studies, education, and philosophy and religion in addition to personal interests in ecology, activism, and spirituality.
We'll start with a warm up, connect past lessons to current lesson, learn to master new content/skills, and practice applying concepts in real-world situations. Students have the choice of helping design lesson or following program. The goal of our time will be to have fun learning!
Lessons are personalized for specific age, grade, course, and special needs. I have experience working with students K-12 and undergraduate and graduates as well.
