*Lesson Topic:* Introduction to Cultural Exchange

*Objectives:*

- Students will be able to introduce themselves and share their cultural background.
- Students will understand the concept of cultural exchange and its importance.
- Students will practice active listening and asking questions.

*Materials:*

- Whiteboard and markers
- Handouts with fun facts about different cultures
- Flags or maps representing various countries

*Warm-Up (5 minutes):*

- Greet students and ask how their day is going.
- Write a few fun facts about your own culture on the board.
- Ask students to share something interesting about their culture.

*Presentation (15 minutes):*

- Write the phrase "cultural exchange" on the board and ask students what it means.
- Explain the concept and provide examples (e.g., food, music, traditions).
- Show students the handouts with fun facts about different cultures.
- Ask students to share which fact they find most interesting.

*Practice (20 minutes):*

- Pair students up and have them introduce themselves to each other.
- Ask each student to share one thing they'd like to learn about their partner's culture.
- Have students ask each other questions and practice active listening.

*Game (15 minutes):*

- Divide the class into small groups and give each group a flag or map.
- Ask each group to research and present one interesting fact about the country they received.
