About Amita
A little about me 🩺
I’m a doctor who genuinely enjoys teaching and sharing the little things I wish someone had taught me at university.
I want to make studying feel less daunting and more enjoyable — because learning something should never feel like a chore rather it should something that you look forward to and then that’s the real game changer
Because once you start liking it there is no going back so I really do want to bring that into my students

I always go by this motto
Understand it. Visualize it. Remember it.
So most of my classes would include use of simple flowcharts, hand-drawn diagrams (because be it medicine or biology hand-drawn diagrams are gonna be your best friend) and clinical connections to make concepts easier to grasp, with active-recall flashcards for the facts that need remembering.
The focus is on understanding the why rather than memorizing the what - because not everything has to be memorized
