About Subashini
Hello! I am Subashini, an M.A. (concealed information) in English Literature graduate from Lady Doak College, Madurai Kamaraj University, now based in Sutton, UK.
I am a dedicated and innovative English Lecturer with over 4 years of teaching experience at Madurai Institute of Social Sciences, Sourashtra College, and Velammal Matriculation Higher Secondary School, plus private tutoring for students and professionals.
I love teaching because I love seeing that moment when a student goes from confused to confident. My approach blends traditional literary scholarship with modern digital and audio-visual tools to make learning engaging, inclusive and future-ready.
I have organised workshops for 500+ students, delivered guest lectures, and presented papers on education and edutainment. I specialise in English Language, Literature, academic writing, communication skills and exam preparation, with strong support for diverse and at-risk learners.
I want to teach because I believe good communication opens doors - academically and professionally - and I want to help every student find their own voice.
