About Marie
In my lessons, you’ll be stepping into a space where creativity, curiosity, and risk-taking are all part of the process. I’ve been teaching art for 18 years, working with students from kindergarten through twelfth grade, so I understand that every artist starts at a different place, and that’s exactly how it should be.
I bring a lot of enthusiasm to what we do, but I’ll also challenge you to think critically about your work and push beyond your comfort zone. Growth in art doesn’t happen by playing it safe, it happens when you’re willing to try something new, even if it feels uncertain.
Self-expression can feel risky, and I respect that. That’s why I work hard to create an environment where you feel safe to share your ideas, experiment, and be yourself. When you feel supported, you can take those creative risks and that’s where the most meaningful art happens.
