About Ruby
With 8 years of experience and an MSc in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry, I've built a teaching style that merges chemistry with curiosity. I specialize in forensic chemistry—drug analysis, toxicology, and crime scene chemistry. My goal is to show students how chemistry lives in every piece of evidence. We work through simulated case files, applying analytical techniques to realistic forensic puzzles. Lessons are hands-on, critical, and thought-provoking. I emphasize instrumentation principles, from mass spectrometry to chromatography. But beyond the science, I teach the ethics behind analysis and the responsibility of truth. Many of my students are future forensic scientists and investigators. I help them build both skill and character. My sessions connect theory with purpose. Together, we transform molecules into stories of justice.

Chemistry is not just about numbers—it’s about understanding the world, and I teach with that vision in mind. My classes are interactive, warm, and focused on building real comprehension. I specialize in helping students who struggle with equations or feel disconnected from the subject. Through visual models, problem-solving exercises, and relatable examples, I make chemistry click. We explore real-world chemistry: how detergents clean, how caffeine affects the brain, and why the sky changes color. Lab safety and scientific ethics are integral to my teaching. I love weaving historical discoveries into lessons to show how chemistry evolved through curiosity. My sessions inspire curiosity in both Science Communicators and Neuroscience Buffs alike. I aim to nurture critical thinkers who see connections across disciplines. Each lesson is engaging, conversational, and thought-provoking. Together, we tackle tough problems and celebrate small breakthroughs. Chemistry, in my class, becomes a living subject that sparks wonder and understanding.
