- Find your levels and your needs (listening, speaking, reading & writing),
- Design a fun & interactive lesson,
- With specific, targeted, and explicit descriptions,
- A sample speaking lesson: after showing you some examples, I put you in "the hot seat," and ask you to share about your favorite animal. I grade you on: your use of academic vocabulary, use of transition words, and staying on topic. I then give you feedback on where you are (What vocabulary you used and we brainstorm how to make it even better. What transition words/phrases you used/did not use. And how to provide a specific example.) The goal is to move you up from a 5 to a 6, or a 6 to a 7, etc.
- I have 25 years of English language teaching experience with children, teens, and adults, so what sets me apart from other tutors is I very quickly find where you are and design lessons to get you to the next level (again, IELTS 5 to 6, 6 to 7, 7 to 8, etc.).
- These lessons are for international students who want to get a general IELTS score for work, or an academic IELTS score to get into a university program.

As a former English teaching colleague of Bill, I can attest that his ability to connect with students truly sets him apart. He takes the time to understand each learner’s strengths, challenges, and interests, tailoring instruction to meet individual needs and build confidence. Any student would be fortunate to learn with a tutor so supportive and effective.
