My method is to teach concepts from the ground up. I remember the feeling of being left behind in my maths class in school just because i missed a single class. Trying to catch up to speed is uneccesary pressure and i strongly urge my students to practice one concept thoroughly before moving onto the next topic. I give tests regularly and keep the student alert and interested.
